Multidisciplinary Management of Obesity

Multidisciplinary Management of Obesity: "many formerly obese patients stated that they would rather be deaf, blind, or lose a limb than return to being morbidly obese."

However no one asked those that are deaf, blind or have lost a limb what they thought about the MO. No word from those that are morbidly obese, deaf, blind, and have lost a limb. All the dead people interviewed that have died as a result of the complications of diabetes say do whatever it takes to take control of your life before they are throwing dirt in your face too.

I'm doing research on the various forms of bariatric surgery preferably laparoscopic!

I know several people who have had the surgery. Most have done very well and are pleased with the results.
However, one had the lap band first, then had complications and had to have the by-pass done to correct the pfoblem. She is almost too thin now.
Glad you liked my poem.

Hope you had a fun 4th in spite of all the rain. I went looking at furniture with my sister and got caught in the douwpour.

The more I read the less I like the Lap Band idea, but I thought it was interesting that in the long run it does work as well as the "cut and paste" methods. :-) I don't like the having to go in frequently for "tune ups"!

I had a lovely 4th, but it sure is raining like a big dog today!
